(I’ll Be) Live from the DFW Auto Show!

#DFWAuto

I love cars, and since I’m deep in the hunt for a replacement for the swagger wagon, I couldn’t be more excited to be attending the DFW Auto Show this week! I’ll be at the auto show tomorrow for a media event at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, and you can follow along as I share all the fun on Twitter, Instagram, and Periscope (@mommy_grrl)!  We’ll all be sharing using the hashtag #DFWAuto, so be sure to look for us!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I fell in love with my pretty red Toyota Prius hybrid when I lived in Wales – its fuel efficiency rescued me from having to learn how to drive a manual car there. (Hey, it’s one thing to drive a manual, it’s another to shift with your right hand and clutch with your left. Think about it.)  Needless to say, I’m really excited to see what Toyota has on offer for 2016.While I’m there, I’ll definitely be taking part in the Ride and Drive opportunities from Kia, Mazda and Toyota as well. I’ve never driven a Kia so I’m looking forward to it, and I’m hoping to check out the Mazda CX-9 while i’m there, too.

I’ve had a lot of questions from moms in particular who are itching to move from a minivan to an SUV, so you know I’ll be checking out those options from Honda, Nissan, Lincoln, Cadillac and others.  But…hey, a girl can dream of the day when she doesn’t need space to tote sweaty soccer and lacrosse gear and bulky chairs for the sidelines, so you can bet I’m going to visit Jaguar, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz…oh, and the Rezvani Beast Speedster.

What is the Rezvani Beast? Oh, just THIS.

I think driving it would make me feel like a superhero!
