What I’m Reading Wednesday, Redux
I’ve been doing so much reading and not enough reviewing – at least, not here on the blog. Between my own writing (which was going well, and now is – not) and reading and life in general, I feel both overwhelmed and behind. (Is it possible for the year to have passed both quickly and painfully slowly at the same time?) Reflective of my brain, the blog feels both overweighted with book reviews and also…empty. What I need is consistency, and a schedule. So with that, I’m bringing back “What I’m Reading Wednesday“. With this, I can – at a minimum -share with you some of the good stuff that…

I Read 67 Books in 2019. (67-ish.)
Goodreads has reported that I read 67 books in 2019. This beats my goal of 50, so at least I can say I definitively kicked butt on ONE of my goals for 2019. It was way more, and my baseboards prove it. (So does my waistline, sadly.) Book Review: Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
Review Dark Matter by Blake Crouch came out today in paperback, and if you haven’t read it yet – I’m going to tell you about it as best I can without TELLING you about it. (And also – WHY haven’t you read it yet?) This is one of those books that is a tightrope scenario for reviewers – we have to tread carefully, because if you give too much away, it spoils ALL the fun. And I wouldn’t want to do that. I want your mind blown as much as mine was. In fact, just avoid ANY AND ALL reviews that talk even a smidgen about the plot line. They are the…
