Happy Blogoversary to Me!

Woo hoo! Today is my blogoversary!!!!

*throws confetti, blows horns*

A blogo-what, you say?

Three years ago today my blog was “born”.  THREE. Years.

I’ve come a long way from a blog with the original intent of simply recording memorable moments of my kidlings and keeping our far-flung family in the loop.  In the meantime, the blog has grown, I’ve expanded the content, moved continents, moved blog hosts, and had a redesign *whew*.  I’ve blogged about my daughter, whining,  glitter, my son, how he helps his sister, weeing on the floor, posted photos proving strong genetics that exist in this family, and moving overseas and speaking the language, just to start.

Along the way, I’ve also gained a dear few loyal readers (you know who you are) and a bunch of fun followers.

*mwuah*

To share the love, I’m doing a teeny tiny giveaway. Well, actually TWO giveaways – one for my peeps on EACH side of the pond. These are not sponsored, I’m digging into my pocket and doing this all on my own.

Yes, I love you that much. About as much as I love chocolate. So, are you ready?

For my UK peeps, I’m giving away *drumroll* one dozen Gower Cottage Brownies of your choice! *nom nom nom* Handmade here in Wales, they come in Original, with Walnuts, with Hazelnuts – even Gluten Free! (I’ll let YOU pick.)

And for my US peeps, I’m giving away one of my all time favorites: a box of assorted caramels from Fran’s Chocolates! My favorites are the smoked salt caramels – I think that the sweet/salty combination is out of this world, but I’ll let you try an assortment of all of them.

All you need to do is leave a comment below (be nice please) about anything you want! For an extra chance to win, follow the blog on Facebook and/or follow me on Twitter (I’m @mommy_grrl) – just follow, and come back and leave an individual post for each one (with your name, so I know you are for realz).  I’ll give everyone until Friday, and then I’ll draw a random name for each gift.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

In the meantime, I’m trying to figure out how to celebrate here. Maybe with a big martini, like the one I’m – erm — sitting in below. (After all, I’m not “on the rocks” just because life around here gets bumpy…)

Maybe I’ll just stick with chocolate, too.

Happy Blogoversary – why have I not discovered you before?! Just spent the last half hour dipping into various posts and laughing (loved the cow story, love them from a distance but they can be frightening close up!)

Well Jen Happy Blogoversary – this year has been a big one for me too – turning Four-Oh. It hasn’t changed me or my chocolate intake so far – yesterday I demolished a whole 100g solid chocolate bar with hazlenuts in it. I count the hazlenuts as part of my 5 a day.

    I don’t think that’s cheating, do you?
    😀

Happy Blogoversary, Jenn! I love reading your blog to keep up with you and the fam…since we never seem to be on Skype at the same time. No need to enter in to the drawing. I would rather just get to see you the next time you come home!

A very Happy Blogiversary to you! And quadruple yum on your giveaway! You should definitely celebrate, keeping a blog going more than a couple of years is an achievement. Sometimes I love it completely and at other times I think… ohh, life would be so much more simple without it. But something keeps me blogging. Probably because I love it more than I realise. 😉

Hoorah! Happy blog-iversary! 3 years is pretty impressive… and I’ve enjoyed reading your “stuff” along the way! Keep it up – and yes, grab something on the rocks today!! (no need to be entered in your give-away… we’ll buy each other drinks once we get W O’R over here!)
